How fast is your internet?

• Pause downloads, streaming and cloud backups on other devices.
• Wi-Fi is often the bottleneck. Try once near the router, or on a cable.
• Run it twice. The first run can be slower while the network warms up.
• On mobile data, pick --quick. Full can use a lot of data on fast 5G.

Latency is the round trip to Cloudflare. A big jump while downloading or uploading is called bufferbloat: calls and games stutter whenever someone else is using the connection.

Not on any server. Unlike speed.cloudflare.com, this page doesn't upload results anywhere. Your last 10 results are kept in this browser only, so you can compare them; clear them any time. A share link carries the numbers inside the link itself.
